Louis Tay is an Assistant Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Purdue University. He received his B.A. in Psychology (with Merit) from National University of Singapore (2004) and a First Class Honors (2005) at the University of Melbourne in Australia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (2011) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was also a worked as a Postdoctoral Associate (2012). He completed short stint at the Singapore Management University as a Research Fellow (2012). He has published over 30 papers in outlets such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Research Methods, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Psychological Science. His work has also been featured in media outlets such as Wall Street Journal, APA monitor, Scientific American, MSNBC, and Psychology Today.
